Mega Music Radio is an indpendent radio podcast created by 17 year old music lover, Angus Brennan.
"I've always loved the idea of independent music. The fact that people are going out and spending their own money to put towards creating brilliant works of art is such an beautiful thing to me."
Starting out in 2008 as a weekly community radio show, Mega Music has been growing slowly ever since. Week by week, Angus would grow his music collection, by finding and ripping his parents' old CD's to put into compilations to showcase on his radio show. In 2010, he joined forces with a school friend, Ayeisha Sheldon and pooled their musical resources to grow further. This was around the time when Angus discovered the wonderful world of Triple J. Since that time, Independent music  was all Angus could think about, and made numerous segments, such as 'Indie Artist of the Week', and 'Mega Covers'.
Now, happily creating 3 podcasts per week; and independent music podcast, new music podcast and a DJ Mix (recorded by another friend of his), along with hosting his live 2 hour radio show on Friday afternoons Angus finds his peace. He has just enough music to keep him content, and enough new music to change his ringtone 6 times each week.
